A decision to establish Association of Agricultural producers of Cerovlje was made on December 13, 1998 on a Council meeting. The Association has a unique goal and that is the development and promotion of agricultural production in the Municipality.

The basic activity of the Association is the creation of favourable conditions for the cultivation of vineyards and orchards, construction of farms and food processing capacities, development of agro tourism by educating the members of the Association through the visits of fairs, seminars and exhibits, organising the acquisition of seedlings, feedstock material and machinery.

The Association has its constitution, Steering Committee and a Supervising Board, president, vice president and a secretary. The work of the Association is public, and it is mostly financed by the membership fees and through donations from the Municipality budget.
The Association has about one hundred members, out of which, 15 have a registered Agricultural production. The list of the registered producers can be found on the link registered agricultural producers.
